Sigma Theory is a game I discovered in 2018 that I am eagerly waiting for. Currently in a private beta, this strategy game allows you to control your own intelligence agency by recruiting different agents of various skill levels. This turn-based futuristic Cold War simulation has many customizable and impactful gameplay mechanics that allow a player to carve out their own journey with different outcomes. I am very much looking forward to all the diplomatic elements and consequences of my actions, which should lend to the desire of multiple playthroughs. From a presentation standpoint, Sigma Theory also stands out with an excellent soundtrack that can be heard in the trailers, as well as a cinematic trailer that showcases good graphics for storytelling. I look forward to the finished product from Mi-Clos Studio, as this is currently flying under everyone’s radar, but I expect big things, which is why Sigma Theory is one of my Most Anticipated Games of 2019.
