GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Assassin’s Creed Origins: E3 2017 Official World Premiere Gameplay trailer.
Andre Calvert says:
Although this trailer is not the one that shows it, there is a skill tree in this version, so as an ARPG fan that’s right up my alley. In this particular trailer they show an arrow that appears like it can be controlled by the player, which is another element that could possibly be very fun. Everything always comes down to the atmosphere, and the beautiful Egyptian imagery is just an aesthetic that is much different than what we’ve seen before. The possibility of going into pyramids or maybe encountering a mummy is appealing. Unfortunately, Assassin’s Creed Origins releases against the stiff competition of Super Mario Odyssey and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which may cause this to be very low on the priority list for gamers, but also propel it to be a ‘sleeper’ hit of 2017. I will definitely be watching how this game performs, but most specifically the level of customization for each player, as well as whether this suffers from technical hiccups.
