GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the E3 2017 Trailer:The Artful Escape.

Louis Hughes says:

This trailer caught me by surprise when this was shown. The colorful art style with little explanation was given, but that’s a good thing to have me play the game for my questions to be answered. The gameplay reveal made me think of Bit Trip Runner, where music played a key role in a game that mixes rhythm beat and platforming. If that is the type of game this is, judging by how the guitar is used, then I will give this game a playthrough. In the meantime I will look forward to more information when it’s available.

It’s always nice that indie games are getting more time in the spotlight, as they can go in any direction with their creation.

Andre Calvert says:

The Artful Escape trailer is probably one of the best kinds of trailers, as it doesn’t giveaway much, but has me at peak interest level. It’s a very colorful presentation with great music in the background and I hope the gameplay is as good as it looks. My fear is that the The Artful Escape goes down the path of Unraveled, where the graphical presentation was amazing, but the gameplay was rather flat. I hope this lives up to my expectations, and who doesn’t like random electric guitar?
