GameReviewPad’s End of 2018 Selections Content Schedule
Every year GameReviewPad has content at the end of the year selecting our favorite games, as well as other content. 2018 is no different, as this year we will be having our usual top picks of games.
Given how the calendar dates shake out with both of our schedules and time constraints, Louis Hughes and I will have to convene for our audio discussion of our favorite games picks (and disappointing game) on either January 7 or 8, 2019. In order to keep our discussion blind the written content for top favorite games will be put on hold from publishing until that discussion. Our “Most Anticipated Games” content will be back for the full duration of January 2019.
In order to better aid our readers and provide some sort of “buyers guide” of good games in 2018, for the first time I will put together a list of standout games in 2018 that we at GameReviewPad liked, in no particular order, with no length limitations. The list will be released prior to Christmas. Additionally, I will also release a top limited list of just indie games prior to Christmas of games that I recommend. Hopefully both of these lists can be useful to anyone buying gifts for someone else, spending their own money, or taking advantage of sales that take place during the Christmas holiday period that will have expired by the time we release our top ranked favorite games in January 2019.
In the interim, I will also be releasing and dusting off from my audio vault our segments from last year’s selections of 2017 games and putting them on our instagram video page. This is also where I will be releasing our 2018 selections audio.

- Recommended Games 2018 List (unranked) – Before December 25, 2018
- Recommended Indie Games 2018 List (unranked) – Before 2019
- Favorite Games of 2018 Written Posts – January 7th or 8th, 2019
- Disappointing Games of 2018 Written Posts – January 7 or 8, 2019 (maybe earlier)
- Favorite Games of 2018 (audio) – After January 7 or 8, 2019, Released on Instagram Video
