Louis Hughes’ 3rd Favorite Game of 2020: Final Fantasy VII Remake (PS4)
E3 2015 is when Final Fantasy VII Remake got announced during Sony’s press conference. Five years later, the game was released and not only did it meet expectations, they went beyond. When the demo was released, I was surprised with how the battle system changed for the better. Playing the full game was a treat with improved visuals and a remastered soundtrack. Even though it only covers a small part of the story, and soon the game will be available for Xbox later in 2021, this game has set the example of how remastering a game should look.
