During our podcast for our picks for most anticipated games, I felt embarrassed that I completely forgot about Battletoads. It’s what is considered by many to be the definition of “Nintendo Hard,” to the point where playing in two player mode is impossible due to friendly hits is coming back. Little is known about the game and only that it’ll be a new game, three player co-op, and hand-drawn animations. Oh, and DLaLa Studios will be at the helm and not Rare. The less is more trailer was all I needed to let this be my most anticipated game for 2019.
