While I am still excited to be playing a new No More Heroes game, the latest trailer has taken my excitement down just a tad. I still can’t wait for this game, but the gameplay shown looks different from the previous games. The main difference I noticed is the action is farther away, while in the first two games the action was close up. The new camera setup can be with this being the first game to support co-op and thus the reasoning for the action being far. The concept of Travis Touchdown getting sucked into a gaming console playing through multiple indie games is different, but I will give Suda 51 a chance to make something strange into something awesome.

Fortunately, I won’t have to wait long for this game’s release. This was my ‘most anticipated game’ when Suda came on stage at the Nintendo Switch reveal event back in 2017 to announce he was developing a new No More Heroes exclusively for the console.
