Trailer Impressions: Aluna Sentinel of the Shards release date

Andre’s thoughts on the Aluna Sentinel of the Shards release date trailer

Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards is a game that I had written down over a year ago, but escaped my attention until recently. This action-RPG based that has you exploring mystical 16th century Latin America has a very interesting look to it that certainly is one of the main reasons it caught my attention in the first place. The second one is that the game has a female protagonist, Aluna.

This trailer shows just enough to peak my interest because it seems like a different kind of game that is more emphasized on a story narrative than looting like other well known action-RPGs. Although the graphics aren’t totally impressive, they are sort of in line with what Path of Exile graphics used to be, Rolling is also uncommon in action-RPGs, but was something I first experienced playing Victor Vran, so I’m interested to see how that works in this. Based on the trailer alone it also implies that you can unlock abilities from enemies, but what really lights my eyes up is whenever I see a skill tree and this game has one!

I honestly have no idea what the experience in Aluna: Sentinel of the Shards will be, but It’s something I want to at least try out at some point and add my long list of action-RPG experiences.
