GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the FAR: Lone Sails – Gameplay Trailer.

Andre Calvert says:

This gameplay trailer of FAR: Lone Sails might be one of the pleasant sounding trailers I’ve ever seen. There is a metal vehicle going across a dried-out sea, and you can easily hear it moving with excellent sound effects. The concept of the game is supposed to be about moving your vehicle across a dried-out, while upgrading it and maintaining it. It is a simple concept that I am not sure how it will play out, but the music in the trailer does give it this very uplifting vibe.

FAR: Lone Sails doesn’t strike me as a game with a lot of replay value, but one with an artistic experience that you are supposed to enjoy and cherish once. Since this is a “gameplay” trailer I would have expected maybe a little more in terms of seeing a glimpse of the vehicle upgrade system. FAR: Lone Sails stands out because the trailer gives off a nice mysterious vibe of not knowing what to expect with just seeing a vehicle go across the screen. Let’s not overlook the clean vibrant metallic graphics this game has either. I can’t wait to see how FAR: Lone Sails translates to a game from this trailer.
