GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Frozen Synapse 2 – Pre-Alpha Single Player Trailer.
Andre Calvert says:
I previously played Frozen Synapse when it first came out, but I never knew a sequel was coming until I came across this trailer. This trailer for Frozen Synapse 2 does a good job of giving an overview of what to expect. The fact that single player is being added is a particularly big thing for those who don’t want to deal with all the hoops to jump through in multiplayer. Players entering buildings is a good concept, because a building layout is pretty much what all the Frozen Synapse maps looked like whether originally intended or not. The other cool element in the trailer is that players can forge alliances and “break any treaty,” which adds a whole new layer to Frozen Synapse experience.
The one thing I immediately noted in Frozen Synapse 2 is that the graphics got a bit of a lift. Everything is a lot more shiny and vibrant, instead of blue and flat like before. Since Frozen Synapse 2 The one major hurdle in single player will be single player difficulty, to make sure the game is as challenging as playing in multiplayer. I can’t wait to see what new features will be added to Frozen Synapse 2, as this is easily one of my most anticipated games in 2018.
