Trailer Impressions: Guacamelee! 2 – Announce Trailer | PS4

Guacamelee! was a game that I spent a lot of time with, but ended up forgetting (by no fault of the game) because I had to put the controller down because my fingers were close to blistering due to some of the challenges in the game. All that being said, I really did enjoy what I had played of it, the combat was fun, and the platforming was challenging. Seeing Guacamelee! 2 being announced was surprising, but pleasantly surprising because of how successful the first game was.

The trailer for Guacamelee! 2 is very well put together, with nice music and animation, as well as showing off some of the gameplay. One new element in the game that I think will make it fun and challenging are the new scanlines within the levels, which will add an extra challenge to make you jump more precisely. I definitely see Guacamelee 2! as a potential big hit in 2018 and I can’t wait to play it. I honestly don’t see how it can possibly be worse than the first one. It should be noted that the game is only announced for Playstation 4, but a PC release is possible also.
