GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Official Ooblets E3 Trailer.

Andre Calvert says:

Ooblets is a game where the trailer instantly got me interested. First of all, just look at those beautiful animations! The song in the trailer gives a cutesy welcoming overtone to the whole presentation within the trailer, easily presenting the game as a family friendly game. The game is inspired by Pokemon, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing, confirming my ‘family friendly’ hypothesis. In the trailer you can see someone leveling up, which always makes me warm and gooey inside as an RPG fan.

You also see someone running around with a hat and backpack, instantly giving Ash vibes from Pokemon. We see a lot of different furniture pieces inside of the house and custom hair changes, which would confirm the Animal Crossing part of the inspiration. The part of the graphics that really grabs me is the use of many colors presenting a beautiful picture of the time of day, including the night. It has been almost a full year since we first saw this trailer, I was expecting more trailers and details, but this is what we’ve had since E3 2017. Regardless, I am excited to learn new details about Ooblets in the future because I like the direction this is going. E3 2018 is right around the corner.
