GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the PS4/Steam FIRE PRO WRESTLING WORLD.

Andre Calvert says:

This trailer came as a complete surprise to me, as I had no idea this was in the works. Fire Pro Wrestling World looks like a game I will definitely be interested in playing, especially if the online is working fine. I know I’ve played a Fire Pro Wrestling game before on the Game Boy Advance, but I honestly forget if I actually owned it. What attracts me to this series is the customization of your wrestlers and it also strips away all the nonsense you find in the big wrestling titles to just focus on grappling. It looks like it will be reaching Steam Early Access first on PC, so I’m curious to see the feedback it gets. I’m cautiously optimistic and hope it succeeds because the 2K wrestling games don’t really appeal to me all that much.

Louis Hughes says:

While wrestling fans with a Nintendo 64 were having a blast with the THQ games, Japan had the Fire Pro Wrestling series. I wouldn’t have known about the series until the game was released in North America in time for the Game Boy Advance launch. The fun gameplay and deep customization is what made this a hit with wrestling fans. The trailer does a good job reminding me how much I missed arcade wrestling games, since 2K Games has no plans to make WWE All Stars 2. The visuals and grappling system look unchanged. Though I don’t own a PS4 (yet), I will get this on PC. While I like the WWE 2K series, I do wish that they go back to the arcade styles of the N64 and early SmackDown games.
