GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Red Dead Redemption 2 Trailer.

Andre Calvert says:

I was hoping this game would be announced at E3 2016, but was disappointed when it didn’t happen. To my surprise, the announcement of this trailer release came out of nowhere. When I found out the trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 was coming the first thing that came to mind was, “This is the game that pushes me to buy a Playstation 4.” Red Dead Redemption was easily my favorite Playstation 3 game, largely due to the story. The multiplayer was also very fun.

The trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 showcases beautiful graphics above all else. The shadows, sunlight, and reflections look incredibly crisp. One of the things about the Red Dead Redemption story that made the game memorable were the emotions each character had. The technology to enhance the graphical detail in character’s faces will no doubt in my mind pay great dividends to a Red Dead Redemption story… if done right. Rumors are Red Dead Redemption 2 is a prequel, and that’s the way it should be.

John Marston is easily one of the most intriguing video game characters to surface in the last decade, so I am glad that Rockstar Games decided to r-s… bring him back!
