GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Shenmue I & II Pre-order Trailer.

Louis Hughes says:

With Shenmue III still in development for a hopeful 2019 release, it was a matter of time until Sega released the original games to have new and old fans relive the series most called revolutionary. While some may be disappointed to see that the game is just an upgraded port visually, a lot of features have been added for the upcoming release. These games will give you the option to play with normal or modern controls, also controlling the aspect ratio. As seen in the trailer, you switch between 4:3 and 16:9.

Though I will purchase this, I am wondering if I should play how I remember it or use the modern control scheme. Remembering my experience with Perfect Dark on Xbox Live Arcade, I may try the modern control scheme. As a first, you have the option of English or Japanese audio. I also hope it will have the feature of importing your save data from Shenmue to Shenmue II after seeing how that feature was omitted in the US due to the sequel being on a different console. This makes me wonder if Sega used the Xbox version of Shenmue II for the port or the Dreamcast.
