GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Spiritfarer: What will you leave behind?.
Louis Hughes says:
Here is something that grabbed my attention. Not only did the animated, bright, colorful, visual style get me, but I’m not sure what type of the game this is. The important factor is that I want to play it. What I thought (could be) a building simulator shows what I think is a house boat with multiple characters you can interact with. Then it explains that you can explore different areas to collect items for your friends. Little is shown, but I know I want more, and with a beautiful soundtrack, I can’t wait to learn more about this game.
Andre Calvert says:
Spiritfarer is a game that totally caught me by surprise, giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling in this trailer. With a track in the background that clearly gets you to feel emotion, the artwork in Spiritfarer looks incredibly well done. This short trailer shows that you can build and explore in a boat with friends. There isn’t a whole lot else that I know at this point, except I know those friends are spirits, which sort of gives me a Journey vibe in combination with a game I played last year, FAR: Lone Sails. This is definitely an indie title I will keep tabs on.
