GameReviewPad gives their thoughts on the Team Sonic Racing – Speed Up.
Louis Hughes says:
As for the game itself, I like that it’s taking a different route with the gameplay to set itself apart from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I loved their previous installment, Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, as I felt that game was a nice alternative to Mario Kart 8 when it launched on previous gen consoles. I still play the game on my Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
This trailer showcases that teamwork is the focus, so while you can be in it to win it, that won’t matter if your teammates finish behind. While I’m a little disappointed that the roster is limited to Sonic and crew, I can’t help but get ready for some kart racing madness with this and Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled the following month.
