DragonBall Fighter Z Open Beta (NS): It was recently announced that an open beta would be available before the release of the Switch version for a smoother online experience. If it wasn’t for me reading up on this, I would’ve missed the event being held this weekend. This will be interesting since the Nintendo Online network should be up and running by then, so this will be the last month of free online multiplayer. I’ve heard nothing but praise for the game on Xbox One and PS4. I’ll be looking forward to trying out the open beta.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 Demo (PS4): Thanks to news from Andre, I learned that Sega dropped a demo for the game on Xbox One, PS4, and Switch. Taking a page from Octopath Traveler, the demo will transfer your data to the full game, but unlike Octopath, doing this will also net you some goodies with your content. I hope this becomes the norm, as after most demos people delete them. Now with features like this, they are giving demos more life, that is until they buy the full game. I was thinking about downloading the Switch version, but like the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, I went with the PS4 download, since the original (Valkyria Chronicles) was the first game to make me want a PS3. That, and I have to save space on my Switch, since my 128 GB card is now down to 80 GB.

Forza Horizon 3 (XB1): Even after I beat the main mission, I still have lots of unfinished races to achieve, not to mention two DLC packs.

Fire Emblem Heroes (Android): August is a busy month for gaming, so I will be doing the bare minimum to keep up. This includes keeping up my free summons. I am approaching my barracks limit, so soon I will have to start building and merging more characters.

Detective Case and Clown Bot in: The Express Killer (PC): I expect to complete this week at some point. After a bunch of hours this game has exceeded many of my expectations. I am looking forward to the conclusion.

Graveyard Keeper (PC): This game is slated for release this Wednesday, August 15, 2018. I hope to have my full review around then. Can’t say anything about the game right now. This is also a good stream game candidate.
