Written Content to Expect in 2020GameReviewPad 2018 Logo

Due to some of the delays both planned and unplanned, content and reviews had to take a backseat, but I want to inform the readers about what to expect from GameReviewPad moving forward as far as written content is concerned.

Reviews: I am currently playing through Ori and the Will of the Wisps and will review that once I am done, in addition to one or two other games I need to fully review from the end of 2019. I am also planning on reviewing Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Trailer Impressions: There are many trailers that need to be covered that I’ll be commenting on in a much quicker pace than you are used to reading on the site in the past. I’m mostly referring to trailers within the past two months that I skipped over, but the ‘quicker pace’ will remain in place.

Indie Game Discovery Roundups: I’m two months behind on Indie Game Discovery Roundups, which is unfortunate, but moving forward I will prioritize upcoming indie games and try to catch-up on games I missed by mixing new and older(Feb/Mar) releases in new roundups and maybe publishing some older editions now to make up for it.

Steam Early Access Follow Ups: I have a bunch of older Steam Early Access Games that I need to play again and write about where they stand in development.

Demo Coverage: I’ll be covering demos and this is probably a good candidate for some potential video content.

Kickstarter Campaign Coverage: This was something that I wish I was able to keep up with, but it’s something I want to make sure I cover more in 2020.

NEWER Content Type:

PAX East 2020 Indie Games Catch Up: PAX East recently happened, so I’ll be going back and looking at some of the indie games that were at PAX East and writing some coverage.  This may be split between a new content series series or Track This Indie Game for just announced games coming out much later.

Developer Interviews in Written Form

Strong Opinion Articles About the Industry (Creative Content): I will likely dabble with op-ed content in 2020, but not as much as everything else. I am a very opinionated person and sometimes things need to be said in their own article form outside of a game review or trailer impression.

Retro Franchise Content: As remakes and sequels get, there are many games earlier in various franchises that I want to play and will potentially cover on the site.
