The last time I read George Orwell’s Animal Farm was a long time ago in the 1990s, so I played this game without remembering details of the book, but only vague memories.
I never played Battletoads when the games were originally released, but I’ve heard of the legends of how hard the games are. Thanks to Rare Replay, I was able to play the NES game and the arcade game. I also haven’t played Battletoads/Double Dragon but I really want to.
I generally enjoy playing rogue-lites and rogue-like games with games. Sword and the Stars: The Pit is a game I really enjoyed playing years ago, which is part of the reason I was looking forward to Crown Trick.
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars helped get me into the RPG genre. Ever since, I get excited when a new Mario RPG is announced. I’ve played most of the Paper Mario games except for a few (Sticker Star, Paper Jam, and Paper Mario on the N64). Not to mention the Mario and Luigi series on the GBA and DS, and I did miss out on the later ones for the 3DS.
I am always interesting in playing card games that try to put a different spin on the genre, especially attempts to make single player card games. I’ve played and enjoyed recent games like Slay The Spire and Monster Train.
