‘Game for Game’ List

Newly Added Games to the May 2021 Rankings

2. Age of Empires IV

I’ve been waiting for Age of Empires IV for a very long time. The only thing stopping me from adding it to my list earlier was oversight, plus the confirmation of a Fall 2021 release date. I can’t wait to play this!

4. Harold Halibut

Harold Halibut is a game that was announced years ago, but didn’t have a follow up until this year. This is a stop motion animated game with voice acting and a whole story adventure narrative. The production of this game is impressive enough, but the Story trailer is something to behold and that’s why I have this game so high ranked for my hype. I’ll be doing more coverage of Harold Halibut as we move forward.

7. Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861 – 1865)

This is a game I magically came across while looking at games on Steam over a year ago. This is a historical tactics game where you can play real battle scenarios from the Civil War.  This is currently in Steam Early Access and I hope to play the full version at some point after release. The only thing stopping me from adding this earlier was confidence in this releasing in 2021 This is also shaping up to being one of the best Civil War simulators available, developed by Oliver Keppermuller.

9. OOTP GO

Out of the Park Baseball has had me hooked for almost a year now. Their mobile app has been in development for sometime, but now it is soon on the way and I can’t wait to manage my Perfect Team (multiplayer) on an app when I’m away from my computer. Not only that, but it will also have a single player component. Although the base PC game cost money, OOTP GO will allow anyone to play Out of the Park Baseball ’22 for free.
