Trailer Impressions: Star Wars Battlefront 2: Official Starfighter Assault Gameplay

I admit I am not an expert of the Star Wars Battlefront franchise, but this trailer for Star Wars Battlefront 2 featuring starfighters is amazing. It is no secret that it was a great disappointment that the last game only had multiplayer, but at least for me, any possible addition of single player would HAVE to include starfighter combat. The footage in the trailer is “game engine” footage, and it looks so real!

I am not really a fan of the Star Wars Battlefront 2 land combat, but the amazing graphics of the space battles makes me really want to play this at least once. Obviously trailers can be misleading, so the actual gameplay mechanics will have to live up to the hype. I am perfectly aware of the flight combat already in multiplayer, but it just isn’t that enticing to me. Hopefully single player flight combat in Star Wars Battlefront 2 lives up to the hype provided by this trailer.
