Gryphon Knight Epic Review (PC)

Gryphon Knight Epic tells the story of the legendary knight Sir Oliver, who rides a gryphon named Aquila. The style of the game is shoot ’em up, which is a fun and challenging style that has never been very popular. This epic will bring you to all sorts of varied environments, and put you against some strong and interesting characters.

The Swindle Review (PC)

The Swindle is a 2D, side scrolling, stealth action, rogue-like. platformer. The goal is to break into randomly generated buildings to collect money by picking it up or hacking computers, then escape without getting killed by patrolling security robots. The player has to collect enough money to buy enough upgrades to attempt to steal “The Devils Basilisk,” a device that after 100 days will become operational. Far Cry 4 Review (PC)

Far Cry 4 is a first person shooter, open world, RPG, set in the stunning Himalayan mountains. It’s in a map filled with hidden caves, dangerous wildlife, fortified outposts, and jaw dropping vistas. With never a lack of things to do, weapons to buy, and new additions to mobility, like the grappling hook, Far Cry 4’s solid shooting and stealth mechanics make it a blast from start to finish. So put your wing suit on because it feels good, and let’s liberate Kyratt from the clutches of Pagan Min.

Hearthstone: Goblins vs Gnomes Review (PC)

Hearthstone

Although Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft has been out over a year, the game has changed a lot since the version of the game from 2013. Blizzard Entertainment’s venture into the CCG (Collectable Card Game) genre was met with much skepticism by Blizzard fans when it was announced at PAX East 2013; I was one of them. There was also a little birdie in my head that kept telling me, “money grab.” Despite the birdie in my head giving me mixed signals, as soon as I started watching Twitch streams of early closed beta testers of Hearthstone, I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw and couldn’t wait to play it. The 2015 version, Hearthstone: Goblins vs. Gnomes is much different than the vanilla release version in 2013. Not only has Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft evolved as a game, but my opinion of it has as well. This is a very difficult game to judge, but now I feel a proper judgement can be made based off of Blizzard’s decision-making over the past couple years.

Crypt of the Necrodancer Review (PC)

Many times a game has come to life by asking, “What if we take this genre, and that genre, and mash them together?” Though always unique, rarely does this method produce a top shelf game. But one day the stars aligned and the world was given the gift of Crypt of the Necrodancer. A rhythm based, rogue-like, dungeon crawler that’s executed near to perfection; simple, fun, and exciting, with everything a great rogue-like needs, not to mention an awesome soundtrack. So jump in the dungeon and step to the beat, for there be monsters here to defeat.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Review (PC)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a third person action RPG. Advertised as the first truly next-gen RPG, The Witcher 3 is a grandiose story told in stunning detail with all the necessary elements of a great RPG; an interesting and exciting fantasy tale with lots of dwarves, griffins, elves and sorceresses, made all the more engaging for the graphical improvements of the new generation. In classic RPG fashion, the story changes throughout the game based on the decisions made by the player, whether at key points or during course of the whole game.
