Project X Zone Review (3DS)

When Project X Zone was released in Japan on October 11, 2012, many felt that the game would never see the light of day in North America because it was a game that had three companies (Namco Bandai, Sega, and Capcom) fusing their IPs into this RPG mixed with fighting gameplay somewhat. However, not to long after the release it was announced that the game would launch in North America. Will having a huge crossover game get you hyped or will it be fan service overload?

Senran Kagura Burst Review (3DS)

Xseed Games has been known for bringing a lot of high quality Japanese games stateside without the need for importing. The Last Story, Fragile Dreams, and the Little King’s Story to name a few. Pokémon X & Y Review (3DS)

Pokemon Y Cover

I’ve been a fan of the Pokémon franchise since all but the beginning. It was the overwhelming hype behind Pokémon Red and Blue that led me to rebuy a Game Boy after selling my original in a fit of youthful indiscretion, and since then the games have only sunk their claws into me further with each successive release. Like so many others, I’ve watched the series grow – or should I say evolve? – from a sloppily coded but promising underdog to the powerhouse franchise it is today, some small sensation of kinship accompanying it. That said, I found myself considerably disappointed with Pokémon X and Y.
