I am generally interested in simulator games, but it isn’t my most favorite and played genre. The most recent simulator type game I’ve played is Out of the Park Baseball ’18.
I am always interested in games that create their own virtual world, especially games that are based on history. I am also someone who grew up in the era of Geocities and other old page builders. The only other game I’ve played that is remotely close to the experience I felt in this game is Pony Island.
This my first time playing a game in the Norse universe. I am always drawn to games that tell the story in an interesting way, and especially attracted to cel-shaded games.
As a 1990s Sega Genesis owner, I am a bit embarrassed to say that this is my first time playing a ToeJam & Earl game. I was also intrigued to play this because I’m a big fan of rogue-like games.
Puzzle games are something I tend to avoid because I tend to play video games to not think. Granted, this was back when I was in school. Now, I still don’t play them that much, but I will dab in a few games. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker got me back into the genre.
