Trailer Impressions: A Bigger Badder Bowser – Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – Nintendo Switch Trailer

Louis Hughes’ thoughts on the A Bigger Badder Bowser – Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury – Nintendo Switch Trailer

Nintendo isn’t known for their announcements, but when they do, it’ll be hit or miss. This trailer was a hit,  and as most Wii U ports to Switch, I avoid since I already own them. The only games I double-dipped were Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the improved battle mode and Bayonetta 1 & 2. When the first trailer was shown, I was hesitant since I feel the Bowser’s Fury add-on isn’t worth it. This trailer changed that.

This add-on shows off the massive scale of the world, which some are comparing to a Super Mario Odyssey DLC. What caught my eye is the massive environment and Bowser Jr. helping you. The fact they end it by implying that it’ll be kaiju battle with a metal choir more than sold this as the third Wii U game I’m rebuying. Not since Super Smash Bros. Melee has Bowser looked so frightening. Even better, is that we don’t have to wait long for this to drop.
