Hyrule Warriors Review (Wii U)

When the game was revealed at the opening of a Nintendo Direct, many were disappointed to believe that the next game in the Zelda franchise would be a hack ‘n’ slash game. After the game was shown, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata let the fans know that the game is a spin-off while the next true Zelda game is being developed. With the game being made by the Dynasty Warriors team, the feelings were mixed by fans, but when the game was released it was met with mostly praise. Will using Link’s Master Sword in a fast paced game prove to be the difference maker, or will you “listen” to your inner self and wait for the next true Zelda game?

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd Review (PS3)

I discovered the popularity of Hatsune Miku when my friend sent me a video of her performance. I was amazed that people were cheering at a hologram, but it was something different. When the game was released in Japan, I saw gameplay footage and wanted to play it for myself.

Thankfully, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F was released in the US and I loved the challenge the game brought me. Will the sequel, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd bring new features to Miku and her friends, or will you be hitting yourself with a celery stick for getting excited over nothing?

Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Review (Xbox 360)

After the crazy ending for Saints Row IV, many wondered where the series can go next. At PAX Prime, it was shown that the game will venture to Hell to save your character, with you playing as fan favorite Johnny Gat or Kenzie Kensington. The reaction was mixed due to the city being half the size of Steelport and not being able to play your character. Are you ready to ride on the highway to hell, or should you ignore this and stay in purgatory?
