Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu!
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! was my most anticipated game of 2018 after E3, and it did not disappoint. Upon hearing fans of the franchise being negative on the game’s difficulty, I still wanted to play this. After playing it, I can say that I enjoyed Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! once I got used to the one-handed control scheme, since the last Pokémon game I played was Soul/Silver. This game was meant for people like me who still love Pokémon, but don’t have the dedicated time I used to have as a kid. With this game, I was catching Pokémon, battling gym leaders, all while remembering the earlier days of the franchise, as this is a Yellow remake. While a new mainline game is in the works for 2019, I hope The Pokémon Company continues to make the Let’s Go games, as I can enjoy the game without sacrificing life as an adult.
