Trailer Impressions: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition Trailer
Louis Hughes’ thoughts on the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition Trailer:
I forgot this game was released ten years ago on Xbox Live and PSN. This game was a grim reminder of digital gaming. Back then, digital games on consoles were new, and many were excited we could download a game to our console with no worries. That was changed when games like this, The Simpsons, and X-Men Arcade, along with the Marvel vs Capcom games were delisted from the platforms because the license for those games expired. I still have these games on my PS3 from when they were released, but many weren’t so fortunate.
Thanks to this announcement, I’m happy to learn that more people will be playing this awesome beat ‘em up soon. It’s unclear if the game will support online co-op, as the original didn’t. Unlike the last release, due to space limitations for downloads, this game will be available on a Nintendo platform. So you know which version I’ll be picking up. Sadly, since this is a licensed game I can see this getting delisted in the future just like DuckTales Remastered.
